Description and purpose
Silica, bauxite and coke are mixed evenly and smelted in a submerged arc furnace to produce silicon-aluminum alloy, then calcium oxide and coke are added in batches to form silicon-calcium-aluminum, and finally barite and coke are added in batches to form silicon-calcium-barium-aluminum.
